Soon, the planet Earth finds itself in a conflict with extraterrestrial beings referred to as Worms. The devastation caused by the war results in a significant loss of inhabitants, predominantly young males. Though the Worms were ultimately defeated, their return sparks the development of a specialized mech team - the Sonic Divers - consisting of three adolescent females, who are tasked with responding to the danger.
