It follows the exciting voyages of a Hunter who bravely travels through risky territories to pursue fugitives and unearth valuable relics. The story centers around Gon, the lead character, who embarks on a mission to search for his dad, a fellow Hunter. He leaves home to take part in the gruelling Hunter examination, notorious for its extreme danger and low passing rate. Gon meets his companions Kurapika, seeking revenge, Leorio, striving to become a doctor, and Killua, a former renegade assassin, amidst the trials and tribulations of the test.
