Returning from spending several years in France, Mao Mizusawa, the childhood friend of Kouichi Sanada and Kazuki Aihara, shocks Kouichi by revealing that her parents will not be returning with her. Kouichi's mother then allows Mao to live with them. The three friends navigate the ups and downs of teenage relationships while in high school, providing each other with support.
