After the enigmatic mana disaster, Rudeus Greyrat and his ferocious pupil, Eris Boreas Greyrat, find themselves transported to the Demon Continent. Together with their new ally, Ruijerd Supardia – once the chief of the Superd’s Warrior group – they form a thriving adventurer party named "Dead End." As they gain notoriety, the trio embarks on a voyage across the continent with the aim of returning home to Fittoa. Upon receiving guidance from the inscrutable deity Hitogami, Rudeus saves the Great Emperor of the Demon World, Kishirika Kishirisu, who in reply bestows upon him an unusual power. However, while Rudeus learns to control this potent ability that presents endless opportunities, unforeseen threats emerge, jeopardizing their expedition. It seems as though the power may come at a higher price than he anticipated.
