Throughout their journey, Nanami Momozono, the present land god of Mikage Shrine, and her fox companion Tomoe have faced countless challenges. However, their greatest test comes in the form of the wealth god Ookuninushi. If Tomoe's desire to become human is granted, he must learn to live among them, and Nanami must return to being mortal. As they contemplate life after their past exploits, Nanami is tasked with navigating their changing circumstances as her high school graduation looms. Yet, regardless of the path they choose, the bond between Tomoe and Nanami remains unbreakable.
