After the North Pole's magma dragon becomes a cruel ruler over the volcano, Ocean's mother decides to send her baby princess away. For twelve years, Ocean lives on a nearby island where she befriends a shape-shifting polar bear named Roly Poly and converses with a pair of small fish. While encountering pirates, Ocean meets Momo, an inventor who shares her goal of overthrowing and defeating the magma dragon.
