Akira's life as a worker drains his strength and confines him to a dreary routine. He exists in a gloomy apartment and hides his feelings from a gorgeous coworker. Unexpectedly, a zombie outbreak hits his town, and Akira welcomes the chaos as a preferable change from his mundane existence. The disaster inspires Akira to acknowledge his deservedness of a more gratifying life. He renews his energy and sets out to achieve everything on his list of desires before his inevitable end arrives.
