After a decade since the end of the great war, Wellber was struggling to maintain peace as tensions escalated with neighboring Sangatras. To prevent the outbreak of another war, King Haidel devised a plan to unite the two countries through the marriage of his daughter, Princess Rita, to Prince Guernia of Sangatras. Unfortunately, Rita's plans took a dark turn as she stabbed her betrothed and fled. Infuriated by this act, King Ranbahnhof of Sangatras threatened to declare war unless Rita was captured and executed within the next two weeks. In a desperate attempt to avoid this outcome, Rita sought refuge in the neutral country of Greedom. Meanwhile, a notorious thief named Tina snuck into Castle Wellber in search of treasures but inadvertently witnessed Rita's violent episode. As fate would have it, Tina learns that the "Wasp Man" who had killed her parents was believed to be in Greedom. Driven by a sense of revenge, she agrees to become Rita's bodyguard on their journey to Greedom. As the two set out to face whatever fate has in store for them - whether it's war or peace, vengeance, or death - the unlikely duo's shared journey is fraught with many unknowns.
