Chitose, a plush Emperor penguin hatchling residing in Kyoto, is the protagonist of the "calming brief" manga. From the viewpoint of a penguin, the tales showcase well-known Kyoto spots like the Togetsu-kyo bridge, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, and Kiyomizu-dera temple, as well as Kyoto delicacies.
