Haneru Tobitatsu is an energetic adolescent who has a fervor for dancing. His motivation comes from his beloved idol, Jey El, who is the top star in the dance world. After school, Haneru practices tirelessly outside Memorial Hall every day. However, he is oblivious to the fact that Kanon Otosaki, an online dancer who prefers to go by the name Rhythm, is observing his secretive rehearsals at the same spot. When Haneru realizes this, he becomes intrigued and eager to collaborate with her. Gradually, while discovering the gratification of performing together, the two of them set out to participate in street dancing competitions. They soon intersect with Kumonosuke, Mizuki, and Yuzuru, and together, they form a dance group called "Tribe Cool Crew". Through challenging competitors along the way, they strive to achieve their ultimate aspiration of sharing the stage with Jey El.
