In 2014, Leona, the Sun Goddess of the Solari, arrived on Earth, awakening the genetics of God hidden on the planet. These awakenings included the Power of the Galaxy and the God of War. However, an invasion by the alien Tao Tie was on the horizon, summoned by Death God Karthus for his own amusement. Different groups, such as the Angels, Devils, and God Seminary, had been monitoring the genetics of God on Earth, and they sprang into action. The God Seminary gathered scattered warriors carrying the genetics of God and formed the Black Troops. Radiant Dawn, Leona, was chosen to lead the team and train them in combat techniques to defend against the impending invasion. The Fallen Angel Morgana also arrived on Earth, seeking to sow the seed of darkness and destroy the Holy Kayle. Angel Yan was sent to Earth to inform of the invasion of the Styx galaxy by Tao Tie. Earth became the battleground for a war involving various civilizations. As disasters continued to unfold, the Black Troops soon realized they were fighting more than they had bargained for.
