Youko Nishikawa used to live a pampered life until her father's company went bankrupt, leaving her with the challenge of dropping her princess-like behavior and making friends at an all-girls high school. While eating alone in a nearby forest, Youko meets Futaba Odagiri, a super-energetic transfer student, and Teru Hayama, an innocent-looking girl with a surprisingly direct and sometimes mean personality. Despite their differences, the three girls become unlikely friends, all sharing the kanji for "leaf" in their names, as they navigate the adventures of high school life.
