During the late 19th century in a rural Maine town, Rebecca is a vivacious and optimistic 10-year-old who is the second of seven siblings. Unfortunately, after her father's passing, her family experiences financial hardship, forcing her to reluctantly relocate and reside under the watch of her aunts Miranda and Jane. While Rebecca cherishes her kind Aunt Jane, her Aunt Miranda is strict and harsh. The initial screening of the movie was set to occur on March 14; however, due to apprehensions about COVID-19's spread, the presentation had to be canceled.
