After a deadly traffic accident, Haruto Amakawa, a 20-year-old college student, awakens to find himself in a strange world inhabiting the body of a young boy called Rio. As their memories and identities mix in confusion, Rio realizes that he has been blessed with magical powers. Despite the changes, his desire for vengeance against those responsible for his mother's death remains unshaken. Rio's life takes a dramatic turn when he rescues the princess of Bertram Kingdom from her abductors. In acknowledgement of his heroic actions, the king of Bertram offers Rio a chance to study at the prestigious Bertram Royal Academy. However, the opportunity presents a significant challenge for the young boy who grew up in the slums, given the school's high-society students. Although Rio views the academy as the start of a new life, adapting to this new environment proves to be a daunting task.
