The onset of spring signals the commencement of a new academic year at a junior high school situated in Kamakura. The eighth grade welcomes a fresh transfer student, Ryoichi Kyogoku, who possesses an extraordinary talent for telepathy. Kyogoku's father has instructed him to exploit his capability to read individuals' thoughts and dominate the school. Kyogoku's striking appearance and captivating personality swiftly earn him a following, and he proceeds to seize command of the institution. While Kyogoku discreetly manipulates his devotees and eliminates any opposition that arises, many students succumb to his hold.
