The anime adaptation of a book series follows the alliance of Abe no Seimei, a well-known onmyoji oracle, and Minamoto no Hiromasa, Emperor Daigo's grandson and musician. Their mission is to solve criminal cases that stem from the intersection of the demon and human realms. Abe no Seimei leads captivating expeditions into uncharted territories, while Minamoto no Hiromasa tackles the demon-infested quandaries of Heian-kyo. At the Bureau of Onmyo, he meets Abe no Seimei, a distant yet distinguished onmyoji who is always up for any challenge.
