Lu Fan, a common urban office worker, found herself being abducted by an extraterrestrial creature from the planet Saturn. The alien confided in her that their intention for invading Earth was for her to develop romantic feelings for the extraterrestrial and, ultimately, betray her own country for their plan. As Lu Fan became acclimated to the Saturnian way of life, she met a diverse assortment of creatures from various planets, each with their own individual motives. In Beijing, at the pinnacle of their gathering, Lu Fan learned that she was anything but ordinary. Though she grew increasingly fond of the Saturnian, she remained torn between her allegiance to her country and risking everything for love.
