The plot of Million Doll centers on Suko, an introverted person with a passion for idols and a remarkable gift. Using only her blog entries, Suko can propel any pop star into the limelight. While shopping for groceries with her sister one day, Suko happens upon a live show by the Fukuoka-based musical trio, "Itrio." She determines to use all her abilities to enhance their reputation in the entertainment world. However, her endeavors are challenged by Ryu-san, a persuasive otaku blogger promoting the up-and-coming sensation Mariko!
