Being a member of a cinema club, Kawai Haruto has always dreamed of creating his own movie. However, his passion for filmmaking has been diminishing ever since his best friend and worthy competitor, Hina Yusuke, passed away unexpectedly last year. Eventually, he encounters Sendo Mahiro, who invites him to collaborate on a film project with her. Mahiro reveals that she was present at the site where Yusuke lost his life and feels responsible for his demise. Meanwhile, Yusuke's younger sibling, Hina Asuka, holds Haruto accountable for her brother's death.
