Lupin's interest is piqued when he learns about a newly discovered mineral renowned for its superior stealth capabilities in Vesparand. In the meantime, tragedy strikes the royal family as Queen Sakura and Prince Gill pass away, which means that Princess Mira is next in line for the throne. Princess Mira happens to come across a doppelganger named Ran during her visit to Japan and decides to swap identities with her. Consequently, Ran, along with Conan, Zenigata, Kogoro Mouri, Lupin, and Fujiko, is transported to Vesparand. The group allies with Jigen and collaborates to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the royal family.
