The narrative takes place in Lingshan, and is centered on a group of people who have been marginalized and considered hopeless by society. This group is primarily composed of individuals who are destitute, malevolent, or excessively wicked, and who are left to fend for themselves in Lingshan, where the fourth generation of Kuiba Mi Lin was born. Despite their best efforts, the Heavens were unsuccessful in locating Kuiba, which led them to conclude that they needed to eradicate Lingshan in order to eliminate him. Against all odds, Mi Lin emerged as a hero, giving hope to the inhabitants of Lingshan. With his guidance, the Lingshan Army engaged in combat with the Heavens and prevailed, resulting in Mi Lin emerging as the world's leader.
