To counter the ongoing danger posed by the hostile "Abyssal Fleet," a specialized naval base has been established that employs a unique offense strategy. Instead of traditional naval armaments, this base utilizes "Kanmusu" - young girls imbued with the spirits of Japanese warships - who are equipped with powerful weaponized gear that harnesses the fury of their battleships. One of these Kanmusu is Fubuki, a recently arrived Destroyer who's been assigned to the highly respected Third Torpedo Squadron. Despite her lack of skill and timid demeanor, Fubuki is thrown into battle and nearly destroyed, until her savior rescues her. Determined to become as formidable as her rescuer, Fubuki strives to improve her strength and proficiency.
