Gran, together with his dragon-esque companion Vyrn, reside in Zinkenstill island - a mysterious location amidst a realm of levitating islands. During their stay, they chance upon Lyria, a girl who escaped from the oppressive rule of the Erste Empire's military government. With a firm resolve to evade their clutches, Gran and Lyria embark on a quest through the boundless skies, carrying a letter from Gran's father which assures them a meeting at Estalucia - the exquisite Island of Stars.
