In the year 2055, four years after the events of Danball Senki W, the popularity of LBXs has skyrocketed, with enthusiasts worldwide taking up the hobby. Pro leagues have even been established, allowing some to earn a living by playing the game. Arata, a 14-year-old transfer student, has just arrived at Kamui Daimon Integrated Academy, located near Japan on Kamui Island. This institution is widely regarded as the world's most prestigious training ground for LBX players and mechanics. However, entrance to the academy is only granted to those who have excelled in at least 3 official tournaments. Arata is joined by other members of his platoon, as they battle fierce competitors and uncover hidden secrets concealed within the academy's walls.
