Living in a world where humans and chimeras - creatures that are half-human, half-animal - coexist, there are inevitably some with sinister intentions. Unfortunately, these criminals often leave the police scratching their heads due to their non-human nature. Enter Hiroshi Inaba, a detective who is literally part-wolf and has a special ability to obtain crucial information by examining or tasting a suspect's hair. However, this gift has led Inaba to develop a hair fetish, which doesn't seem to bother his two assistants except for one who enjoys cross-dressing. Inaba's quirks, however, pale in comparison to his archenemy - Don Valentino, the omnivorous crime lord who is half-goat and loves money more than greens! Inaba is determined to put an end to Valentino's stealing but first must sort through piles of incriminating evidence. Will Inaba's commitment be enough to land these bad guys in jail?
