The protagonist of the story is Ani, a princess who comes from the small kingdom of Inako. Her mission is to participate in the treaty-signing ceremony that is expected to put an end to the animosity between Mildonia, a dominant military force, and Selenfalen, a powerful theocracy. While Ani's main responsibility is to ensure the success of the treaty-signing, she encounters obstacles as she contends with numerous obstinate princes.
