Himeno, a third-grader, moves into a grand estate in the countryside only to discover that it is, in fact, a ninja house! The ninjas, Akamaki, Aomaki, and Kiiromaki, mistake her for a princess and utilize their unique abilities to solve her problems. However, their powers extend beyond this. Aomaki and Kiiromaki create Midorimaki when merged, while Akamaki and Aomaki merge into Murasakimaki, and Akamaki and Kiiromaki form Daidaimaki. As they begin to acclimate to their new surroundings, a massive tornado threatens the mansion. Will Himeno's family make it out safely? Can the vibrantly hued ninjas defend her?
