Daikichi Kawachi stumbles upon Rin Kaga, who's passionately making little fish from fallen leaves. Daikichi decides to encourage her newfound hobby and helps Rin learn all about the beautiful sea creatures that exist. Daikichi and Rin prepare for Santa Claus and his loyal reindeer to arrive as they celebrate their first Christmas together as a family. Amidst the cherry blossoms reaching their peak, Rin wants to go flower-watching with Daikichi, Kouki, and Yukari Nitani. However, a spring storm looms, putting a damper on their plans. Following an enjoyable trip to a summer festival, Kouki is still bursting with energy and suggests a brief adventure before heading home. Daikichi happily agrees, taking the group on a short journey.
