The 21st century brought to light the existence of animal-humans, a secret shrouded in history. Michiru led an ordinary life until she underwent a sudden transformation into a tanuki-human. Fleeing, she took refuge in Anima City, an exclusive enclave established 10 years prior for animal-humans to live as their true selves. It was here where Michiru crossed paths with Shirou, a wolf-human with a strong disdain for humans. Through him, she discovered the anxieties, lifestyle, and pleasures of animal-humans. In their quest to determine the cause of her metamorphosis, Michiru and Shirou unwittingly found themselves embroiled in a significant event. The show concluded its TV broadcast on June 25th, 2020.
