Z.O.E. 2167 Idolo takes place many years prior to the events of Z.O.E. Dolores. It depicts the "Deimos Incident," which was a violent assault initiated by the Mars revolutionaries. The plot revolves around the experiences of Radium and Viola, who are amongst the most skilled pilots in the BAHRAM army. They are selected to execute elaborate trials on an innovative weapon that Mars anticipates will enable them to overthrow the oppressive governance of the UNSF. This weapon, which is fueled by the energy produced by Metatron ore, is referred to as the "Orbital Frame."
