On Nozomi's birthday, Bunbee's pursuit of Chocola, a girl from a different realm, disrupts the festivities. After coming to Chocola's aid, the Pretty Cure are led to her homeland, the Dessert Kingdom, a land of abundance with rivers flowing with juice and trees bearing sweets. However, their bliss is cut short when they encounter the malevolent Mushiban and his cronies, Dry and Bitter, who aim to conquer the kingdom and transform the Pretty Cure into confections. To safeguard Nozomi's special day and the entire Dessert Kingdom, the Pretty Cure must battle against Dry and Bitter, and even their close ally Coco, who has succumbed to Mushiban's mind control.
