Sayaka Takai and Akihiko Kannazuki, high schoolers who work together at "Pia Carrot" restaurant chain, share a mutual attraction. However, they find it difficult to convey their feelings before Sayaka is moved to the recently opened beach resort branch. Although Sayaka faces harassment, her fellow employees at the beach location work together to form new friendships, win over patrons, and even compete in a beauty pageant. Despite her tumultuous experiences, Sayaka's feelings for Akihiko continue to strengthen without falter.
