Coming from the rural area, Haruka Nanami dreams of composing music for her icon, Hayato Ichinose, and thus attends Saotome Academy, a distinguished institution for those in the performing arts. The school is filled with idols, composers, and poets, setting a challenging air as she competes with gifted classmates, all hoping to land a spot in the esteemed Shining Agency after they graduate. On her quest, Haruka unexpectedly encounters a mysterious man under the night sky who she feels oddly acquainted with.
