Takashi, an ordinary high school student, experiences a bizarre incident that leads to him sharing his living quarters with the ghostly presence of an outer space creature (known as uchūjin no yūrei) in this "summer supernatural teen comedy." The otherworldly entity, affectionately nicknamed "Uchurei," soon becomes Takashi's cherished comrade, but matters become complicated when Takashi becomes possessed by it.
