Cacao, a student at the Micro Grand Academy, wakes up to a surprising sight; a wooden girl, Hinano, sleeping beside him. She is actually a tree spirit who entered a wooden puppet's body due to Cacao's botched magic spell taught by his teacher. Hinano develops a quick liking towards Cacao and consequently joins his school. Cacao is now tangled up in a bizarre life, encompassing monsters, peculiar twins with a four-eyed cat, a demon boy, unusual mentors and pupils, and the probability of being one of the most magnificent spell-casters of all time. He finds himself stuck in a perplexing and unusual situation.
