The movie revolves around Hikiko, a character from a popular Japanese urban legend, in a 3D CG-animated tale. She is subjected to constant physical and emotional abuse from her peers and parents during her elementary school years, resulting in her transformation into an unrecognizable, disfigured person. Seeking revenge, she captures and mercilessly mutilates her former classmates by dragging them along the ground. Interestingly, the name of the protagonist, 森妃姫子 (Mori Hikiko), when read in reverse, spells 引き籠もり(hikikomori), which means Social Withdrawal.
