After Floria falls to the Vivolian army, Himawari and Tsubaki flee their homeland and settle in Romton. Their peaceful existence is disrupted when Ajisai is kidnapped. The sisters embark on a rescue mission and confront their adversaries, the Vivolians, in the process. The Monster Strike anime channel premieres a standalone 2D animated special episode of the Flower 4 series. While it showcases the game, the plot is self-contained and doesn't correlate with any previous Monster Strike anime installments.
