Following Saito's heroic actions in the War against Albion in season two, he and Louise return to Tristain only to uncover that the runes that previously connected them have disappeared. Consequently, Saito and Louise are forced to navigate the shifting dynamics of their relationship, no longer restricted by their formal Master and Familiar roles. Together, they embark on a mission to locate an Elf that's rumored to have the power to bring the dead back to life, with the hope of uncovering the reason behind Saito's unexpected loss of his Gandalfr abilities.
