By 2220, Earth is on the brink of catastrophe as a wandering black hole nears. A plan is in place to save 300 million people, but the latest fleet is attacked. Susumu Kodai, with his daughter Miyuki (fathered with Yuki), takes charge of the Space Battleship Yamato and intervenes.
