Feeling anxious about meeting her new stepfather, Hiyori seeks solace by the sea, her favorite place of comfort. Unexpectedly, she encounters a curious girl named Koharu and opts to teach her how to fish, much like her late father once taught her. Things take an unexpected turn when Koharu discloses that she too is going to meet her new family that evening. The realization dawns on the girls, that their friendship is bound to deepen further.
