Kate and her Doll Emilico have become official residents of the Shadows House after their debut, but due to the monitoring of the Star Bearers in charge of the children's wing, they have to be cautious about whom to trust. To avoid their oppressive methods, Kate and Emilico work towards becoming Star Bearers themselves. Meanwhile, the Star Bearers are dealing with their own troubles as a mysterious figure known as "Master Robe" infiltrates the children's wing. Initially believed to be harmless, a string of incidents puts the Dolls' lives in danger and points towards this unknown individual as the prime suspect. To solve the mystery and enhance her reputation, Kate takes it upon herself to uncover the identity and motive behind Master Robe's attacks on the mansion. However, her search for clues and suspects proves to be a daunting task with more challenges than she anticipated.
