Volumes 6 and 7 of the manga come bundled with two OVA episodes on DVD. The first OVA, written by the manga's author, serves as a prequel and depicts the meeting of Rea and Chihiro before the main story's opening. They encounter one another at an outdoor hot-spring bath. The second OVA takes place after the series, effectively serving as episode 14. The Furuya family discovers a mysterious young girl hiding under their household temple.
