The world as they once knew it has been destroyed by an insidious extraterrestrial force, the "Dracters," who have almost completely annihilated 99.9% of humanity. They have created a congenial abode by drilling a massive hole in the earth's core. Humans now seek refuge in shelters, waiting in uncertainty for a chance to rise again. Shelter Ixia's inhabitants, whose memories of the destruction have been wiped clean, continue to live mundane lives without a care in the world. But a few, deemed the "chosen ones," have become pilots and command colossal robots known as "Rogue," leading the battle against the Dracters. Today, a new addition will join the exclusive circle of pilots, ready to face the alien oppressors head-on.
