Lady Sheru is plagued by haunting dreams of her past life as Pirotesse. The love of her life, Ashram, is being tortured by the soul of Barbas who is masquerading as their former king, Beld of Marmo. Sheru interprets this as a cry for help and seeks out a way to rescue him by venturing into the chaos realm with the help of the Chaos Ring. Meanwhile, Redon and his companions are summoned to battle once again as ancient beasts from centuries past start to re-emerge.
