As a typical junior-high school student from Jewel Land, Momona finds herself envious of her cousin's bride, Lady Diana, whom she had once had a tiny crush on. However, before they can properly introduce themselves, Momona is abruptly transported to a snowy landscape in Jewel Land where she meets Lady Jewel, the ruler. She is tasked with becoming Lady Jewel herself and is paired with Ruby, a white rabbit, who acts as her mentor. The competition for the title of Lady Jewel includes completing a series of tasks, which Momona must pass to win the crown. Lillian, her competitor, also aims to achieve the title so she can choose her brother, Cayenne, as her King. The challenge puts Momona in an awkward position as she develops romantic feelings for Cayenne. Lillian is not pleased with their closeness, and their friendship remains uncertain. Meanwhile, Cayenne appears to harbor feelings for Momona, leaving the question of who will become Lady Jewel unanswered.
