For three years in a row, the basketball team of Teikou Junior High School held the championship title, thanks to "The Generation of Miracles" - a five-member team with unmatched skills that left rivals in awe and admirers ecstatic. However, when they parted ways, they became fierce competitors, constantly trying to outdo each other. At Seirin High School, two formidable first-year students - Taiga Kagami and Tetsuya Kuroko - joined the basketball team. Kagami, who had just returned from America, had an exceptional talent, while Kuroko was a discreet student from Teikou Junior High's basketball unit, known as the sneaky "Phantom Sixth Man" who supported his teammates to the best of his abilities. Kuroko no Basket follows Seirin's squad as they strive to win the Interhigh Championship amidst fierce competition from other teams, many of which have one of the "Miracles" on their roster. Undeterred, Kuroko and Kagami vow to defeat their opponents, no matter what challenges they face.
