Set in the neighboring country of Jewelland called Sweetsland, the latest film recounts Ruby and her Jewelpet companions as they joyfully celebrate the princess's birthday with a dance. In the midst of the merriment, an enigmatic item falls from the sky, bringing along with it a boy from Sweetspet wrapped in secrecy.
