Konomi Kasahara, a devoted player of puzzle video games, decides to take a break from her hobby upon her enrollment at Hanamiya High School. Seeking a new interest, she stumbles upon the school's rock climbing team and their impressive wall. Intrigued, Konomi scales the wall and discovers that her puzzle-solving abilities are valuable in reaching the top. Konomi is convinced that rock climbing is her calling and joins the team with the determination to improve her skills. Together with her teammates from the Hanamiya Climbing Team, Konomi experiences the essence of being a "sports climber," striving towards victory in upcoming competitions.
