In the year 1983, Hinamizawa finds itself trapped under quarantine due to a lethal virus that has erupted within the village. This terrifying development leaves the locals, including Keiichi Maebara and his companions Mion Sonozaki and Rena Ryuuguu, bewildered and filled with terror. As the villagers frantically hunt for a solution to the rampant affliction, certain citizens resort to drastic measures. Confronted with perilous circumstances and fearing for their lives, Keiichi and his friends seek a way out of the village. But when tensions climb to dangerous heights, not all of them may survive the struggle they now face against their visible and unseen foes.
