The ancient kingdom of Parros has been invaded by the armies of Mongaul, leading to the assassination of its reigning monarchs. In spite of this, Princess Rinda and Prince Remus are able to escape by employing a hidden gadget within the palace. After wandering into Roodwood, they are saved from Mongaul's troops by a mysterious individual with the head of a leopard. The man remembers only two words, "Aurra" and "Guin," which he presumes are his aliases.
